What are earthquakes? Why do they occur? What are the consequences of the earthquake?

Know all about the earthquake here.

The term earthquake means when the layer of the earth on which we live shakes and trembles. It occurs certainly and unknowingly. They are the most terrific things in the natural disasters that occur in the environment. They cause enormous destruction to the places where they occur and to the nearby places as well. There are so many types of earthquakes that occur. Some earthquakes are major and some are minor in nature, but when the word earthquake is used where to describe the situation it means that the place is really in danger, if not now (in current) but maybe in the future.

But why do these earthquakes occur?

The simple and the most important answer to this question is that we all are the only reasons for this devasting thing that is occurring. We, people, have made our mother earth so polluted and difficult to survive that the earth today on which we live is suffering badly. Global warming, increase in technology, increase in industrialization, different kinds of pollution (water pollution, air pollution, land pollution, soil pollution), increase in the waste, decrease in humanity, harsh behavior with our animals (whether domestic or wild), using unnecessary things, using ample of resources from the nature but not using them fully, effectively and efficiently, etc.

These are just a few examples that why this natural disaster, an earthquake occurs, but there are several other which leads to the same.

The consequences of the earthquake are very menacing. They cause harm to the lives of the earth, including animals, humans, and the creations of humans. They cause treacherous effects on our earth. Ground tremors, soil liquefaction, landslides, cracks, avalanches, fires, and tsunamis, can all be caused by earthquakes. The magnitude, severity, and length of an earthquake all affect the amount of damage, and destruction it causes.
